Cushena: Do you plan to have any physical locations, in addition to your online boutique?
Renita: Yes, in Charlotte maybe in the next year. I want to develop my online boutique and at least do that for a full year before I get a physical location. I had thought about showcasing my pieces in small shoe or accessories boutiques, but right now online is working for me.
Cushena: When is your next trunk show?
Renita: The next event is this Friday, December 14, 2012, Dupp & Swat: The Studio 5pm-9pm. I am also open to taking part in other trunk shows and vendor shows whenever they come about.

Cushena: Do you have a wardrobe consultant that assists you in choosing the merchandise that you sell?
Renita: No. My company offers style consults for full figured women, so I solely run that and every aspect of the business. As a plus size woman, I can relate and help other women accentuate their most flattering body parts.
Cushena: Where do you get your merchandise from. Do you purchase from other boutiques or thrift?
Renita: A lot of people ask me do I buy from other boutiques, but No. I order from vendors and I need to start thrifting. People get on me for not thrifting, but I just haven't gotten into it. Sometimes with full figured women, it is already a challenge to find clothes in the correct sizes at several places, so I feel like thrifting would be double the challenge. I go to Goodwill, but I don't go to the big places like the real thrifters do.
Cushena: Who is your favorite designer?
Renita: Plus size?
Cushena: Sure, you have to be able to wear it, right?
Renita: Well the only designer (that I know of) that solely focuses on plus size that I like is Monif C. She mainly does dresses and swimsuits. I wish she would do blouses and other pieces. In the future I would like to design myself too, but I can't draw or sew, so I will wait until I build the boutique, then move into the full aspect of designing with someone who can take my ideas from my mind into realization. I want to design ready to wear clothes, with my own true plus size chart and everything! Also, work wear and party clothes. All in the future though because I don't have the time.
Cushena: So, how do you primarily advertise?
Renita: I primarily advertise through my social media sites. I have also been featured in Metro Proponent, local magazines like Urban Times with Nicki Rich and I also have a publicist now and will eventually feature me in his magazine, Celebrity Power. last event I was apart of was the Red Pump, Red Tie. There was so much media there. Everywhere I turned, there was a camera! It was awesome though. Infinite Style was apart of the fashion showcase & we had models to walk in the show. Production wanted me to come out for the finale walk, but I'm so used to being behind the scenes! I did it, but I was so nervous! Overall, one of the best events I was apart of this year!
Cushena: You know you have to come out, so they can see the person behind the actual clothes. (LOL)
