The once chic and sophisticated peplum dress has returned with a vengeance. 

The designers have really stepped up their game to enhance and modify this dress to perfection.

Though the classic peplum is still hanging on, the changes have really made this dress pop. 

For example, the peplum has become longer on some, while many designers have opted to shorten it to just a flap. Still others have experimented with slits and folds for an even more distinguished look.

The colors of the peplum are very much trending as well. The bright and vivid hues are in this colorful fashion season. FASHION AND BEAUTY CAMP: For Teens 13-18

Calling all my teen girls and boys ages 13-19 interested in fashion, modeling, and makeup artistry.

Yasmin Young is teaming up with the I Am My Sister foundation to host a hands on training camp for teens interested in the fashion and beauty industries. 

There will be industry professionals, makeup artist, and hairstylist giving up close and personal information, direction, and guidance to teens interested in exploring this exploding industry. There will be a fashion show and field trips as well.

This week long camp will be held July 15-19, at Belmont Abby College from 9am-4pm. There will be drop off points for Charlotte and Gastonia which are listed below. Lunch is also provided. REVIEW AND WRAP UP: The Beat & Tamed Fashion Preview

If you were not in attendance of the 'Beat and Tamed' Outdoor Runway Preview, you missed a truly amazing show.

Mrs. Octavia Coleman owner/entrepreneur of Ice Creme Beauty Bar definitely put her body and soul into this show. The hair on those models were styled to the gods and gave everybody in the house life. Not to mention that all of the models were completely natural and Octavia used her very own LeCreme Hair products.

There was color on the hair, color on the face, and the clothes were to die for. Bright colors are in this summer and the 'Beat and Tamed' runway preview did not disappoint with the neons, reds, pinks, and yellows.
