If you were not in attendance of the 'Beat and Tamed' Outdoor Runway Preview, you missed a truly amazing show.
Mrs. Octavia Coleman owner/entrepreneur of Ice Creme Beauty Bar definitely put her body and soul into this show. The hair on those models were styled to the gods and gave everybody in the house life. Not to mention that all of the models were completely natural and Octavia used her very own LeCreme Hair products.
There was color on the hair, color on the face, and the clothes were to die for. Bright colors are in this summer and the 'Beat and Tamed' runway preview did not disappoint with the neons, reds, pinks, and yellows.
Dupp and Swat one of the sponsors of the runway preview that also styled the models, gave us true fabulosity and had us all on the edge of our seats with each look. I was thoroughly impressed by them all.
Designs by Danny was also a sponsor and rocked the runway with gorgeous, authentic, and eclectic neck pieces that simply wowed all in attendance. I can't say enough about this very talented designer.
Ego-Emporium lit up the runway as well with her hand-painted and hand-crafted ear pieces that most definitely blew me away as I wouldn't have expected anything less from this unique entrepreneur.
Yasmin Young had the crowd from beginning to end with those magic hands of hers spinning on the 1's and 2's. If you haven't heard a female DJ spin, you might want to check out my girl DJ Yasmin Young of Power 98's Morning Madd House. She is an awesome DJ and she kills it every time she hits those tables. She is also available for private parties and venues so hit her up next time you need a DJ for your event.
Talented singer Charles Mac was in the house and performed for us. His bass-filled and sultry voice had us swooning in our seats.
And last but not least I must say I was awe-struck by the models, for they owned that runway. They gave us style, they gave us chic, and they gave us attitude. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. There were looks for all of the hot and fresh summer trends of 2013. Octavia's son Kingston also got it in on the runway, looking oh so swaggalicious in his plaid blue and white fedora and his neon orange flip flops, with multicolored swim trunks and matching gray and yellow shirt. He definitely commanded our attention and worked that runway.
Mrs. Octavia Coleman had a plethora of support from Carletta McMillan from Beyond Revealed Media whom of which sponsored the red carpet and backdrop to Charia Dillard from Beauty by Charia who specializes in airbrush makeup and worked her magic on those fantabulous models.
So to say the 'Beat and Tamed' outdoor runway preview was a success is an understatement. It was the epitome of entrepreneurial and fashionable genius.
Kudos Mrs. Octavia Coleman and all of those that made this event so incredible. I can not wait for your next event.
