GET LACED: 2013 Fall Fashion Trend

One of this years hottest fall trends, lace, has definitely gone from the chapel to the runway.

No longer seen as matronly, lace, has been reinvented and dubbed 'the new lace'. The runways from New York to London Fashion Weeks have been flooded with lacing details.

This very intricate texture has long since been a fashion staple for many, many years, with emphasis on bridalwear.  However, this very chic and sophisticated pattern and texture is a red hot commodity, which has made its way on and has been incorporated in this years top designs and styles, including slacks and jumpsuits.

The red carpet has blazed the lace trail as well. A slew of stars and celebs along with their glam squads have hopped aboard the lace train. And because it has been so very well incorporated into modern designs, it didn't take much convincing.

Shoe designers are also getting in on the lace bandwagon. From the very well known Jimmy Choo to Steve Madden, lace is the 'it' texture to rock on your feet this fall. And because 'the new lace' has made such an impact this year, it can be worn, pretty much, anywhere with anything.

Top manicurist and nail techs are cashing in on the lace design as well. So much so, that actual lace has made its way onto some of the most popular hands in the world.

It is also very much 'in' to accessorize with lace, especially if you're not quite sure or sold on a full lace ensemble. Purses, earrings, bracelets, cuffs, and cell phone cases are definitely great ways to add the flair and detail to any outfit.

In addition, as with most of the hottest styles this year, you can also find lace in different colors. From very bright to classic black, lace has a color to fit all skintones and types. There are also new, different, and fun lace patterns debuting this fall season, leaving all with plenty to choose from.

So, as you transition or whether you've already transitioned into your fall and winter wardrobe, why not try to play around with, mix and match, and work 'the new lace' into some of your favorite fall ensembles.
