AWARDS SEASON IS A WRAP: The Oscars

And just like that awards season has wrapped. The laughter has stopped and parties shut down, it's back to what the stars consider "normal" life. Not, though,  without the lingering talk of host Ellen DeGeneres' jokes, pizza ordering, and the ultimate selfie that broke twitter for about 20 minutes.

The Oscars had an amazing and groundbreaking night. Not only with the montage and flubbed teleprompter mishaps and name mispronunciation, but the red carpet was red hot!

Nudes, neutrals, pastels, and metallics was the top color choice on the Oscars red carpet.

The fellas were also rocking the neutral as well. E! Network's Ryan Seacrest and Oscar winner, Jared Leto looked very dapper in their cream and white tuxedos.

Of course, no awards show is complete without fashion mishaps, but overall the glam squads did a bang up job on their respective clients.

Also, a designer that debuted her line at Charlotte Fashion Week, Nicci Hou, made her mark on the Oscars fashion party scene by way of Disney star Zendaya Coleman. What a fabulous choice of wardrobe indeed. The outfit was truly astonishing.

No awards show this season is complete without mentioning Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o. She was absolutely stunning in her Nairobi Blue Cinderella ball gown, perfect makeup, and blinding smile. She has taken the red carpet by storm and has blown our minds with each and every fashion choice that she's made.

Designers definitely stepped up their game and pulled out all of the stops to simply bomb the red carpet with their awesome fashion and style. Dior, Alexander McQueen, and Prada were just a few of the designers that most assuredly got it right last night.

Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde were also glowing on the red carpet sporting their baby bumps. And they did so in 6 inch heels. Way to go mommies-to-be, you rocked.

Other notable red carpet stunners were, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jennifer Garner, Penelope Cruz, and the list goes on and on. Their glam squads should take a bow because they really did their thing with each and every one of these ladies.

Though the 'awards season' has wrapped, the fashion and style moves on. The creativity and desire to be bigger and better and debut the next big thing will keep the designers and celebs alike on their pampered tippy toes.
