BUTTON UP: The Button Earring Trend

Many years ago the button earring was associated with class and sophistication. Old Hollywood latched onto the button earring with a nice clutch and pencil skirt that elongated the body and brought a nice frame to the face with a short curly hairstyle or an elegant updo.

Though this trend never completely went out of style especially amongst the baby boomers, who believed and still believe that less is more. The button earring has come back on the fashion scene full throttle.

The new generation of button earring wearers have again taken flight with an absolutely amazing new twist. 

The colors, the designs, the textures, and styles have definitely evolved with the classic appeal of the button earring. Gold chains, glitter, and lace have also been added to and are just a few of the many materials used to give the button earring added flare and pizzazz.

BILLBOARD AWARDS: Red Carpet Wrap Up

The Billboard Awards are finally over. While there were performances that wowed us, there were also some very funny and downright hilarious moments that exploded all over numerous social media sites. 

However, the real buzz was out on the red carpet. From Selena Gomez to Kelly Rowland, the red carpet burned with amazing fashion and style.

It also seems that of all the stars got the memo to bare it all. There were many splits, slits, sheer, and shorts all wrapped into one red carpet. 

There were also those that brought a more elegant vibe to this years' Billboard red carpet. Those that snatched their looks right from the runway, i.e. J. Lo, who rocked an awesome Spring 2013 runway look with a little bit of sheer and a whole lotta glam. She was one that absolutely killed it on the red carpet.

Their were some noteworthy red carpet looks that didn't get it quite right, but we won't focus on those this go around.

For the most part, the glam squads, designers, and stylist got it right for the 2013 Billboard Awards red carpet. Below you will find some of those looks that graced and blazed the red carpet last night.

That's a wrap! The 2013 Trumpet Awards have come to a close and the Fashion Critics, Internet, and Stylist are all weighing in on the red carpet hits and misses. It also looks like the must-have accessory this year was...a MAN! The husbands and significant others were out in full force, escorting and supporting their ladies.
