BREAKING RULES: Open Toes & Pantyhose

The age old fashion faux pas of wearing pantyhose with open toed shoes, has now become a fashion trend.

Open toe shoes are no longer red flagged for cold and winter months. In fact this trend has bloomed and blossomed right alongside the quirky yet intricate patterned tights.

Though the rules of this fashion trend has been shattered and broken, there is, however, a RIGHT way to wear open toed shoes and tights or pantyhose.

The pantyhose and leg wear industry has been quite accommodating with this new trend. You can now wear open toe tights or pantyhose, from sheer to opaque, essentially giving you the best of both worlds. Colors, designs, and and your favorite open toed or peep toed shoe, has no bounds with these new style of pantyhose and tights. Which is, honestly one of the more popular ways to wear open toed shoes during the cooler months.

Color Blocking Still On For Spring 2013

Though we are still in the throws of winter, many woman are already thinking about and preparing for this years spring fashion. Are you wondering what's in and what's out this year?

Well, don't shelve those color blocked heels just yet. Because from the look of things, this spring is going to be a very big color blocking year. The new trends are leaning towards and favoring multicolored heels and stilettos.

Remember, though, whenever coloring blocking your shoes, don't overdo the clothing. Pick the item that you are matching the heels or stilettos to. Also, don't overdo patterns when color blocking with shoes. However, you can pick a bold plaid and choose to bring out a bright color within that pattern to put emphasis on. The goal is to make a bold yet sophisticated statement without looking as if you are going to the circus. You may also highlight one color of the color blocked shoe paired with solids, whether shirt and pant or blouse and skirt.
