COLOR PREDICTIONS: Springtime Fine

Spring has sprung and all of the color predictions are popping out all over the place.

Patones prediction for the hottest color this year is 'radiant orchard'. And we've seen this color fly right off the runway and land in our local stores and boutiques.

Other color predictions include metallics, nudes, and pastels. Colors that we've seen quite a bit of on the red carpet this year during awards' season.

To take full advantage of this springs' prime colors, it's definitely ok to mix and match, which we saw an abundance of on the runways both at NYFW and in the Paris fashion shows.

Men are also getting in on this years' color trends. Adding pops of color, whether with a tie, bow tie, or an ascot, as well as shirt combos, scarves, and socks. Some men are even wearing full on color with the whole ensemble. And are surprisingly pulling it off.

No matter your style or stature make sure that you make this years' color trends apart of your spring wardrobe. So that you too can be springtime fine.

Happy Spring!

CARRY ON: 2013 Purse And Handbag Trends

As the many different handbag styles and trends have gone from drastic to fantastic over the years, THIS years' designs and colors are sure to wow even the most skeptical fashion critic.

The larger oversized purses and handbags have shifted and downgraded to medium and small for a more sleek and prissy look.

The top handle handbag is very popular this year. Some with flaps and fringes while others are adorned with spikes and bows.

The clutch purse has become more standard this year as well. Better known for its more elegant and sophisticated look, the clutch has since been paired with jeans, slacks, and more casual, laid back apparel.

Color blocking is also a popular trend with purses and handbags this year. From primary to neon the colors are popping on purses and handbags for spring and summer 2013.

Monochrome, floral print, metallics, and stripes are topping the fashion charts also. Faux leather, suede, snake skin, and mixed textures are making their way back to the fashion scene, giving added style to your handbag or purse.

Many designers and stylist have really stepped it up this year in the handbag and purse department so much so that no longer is it seen as an accessory but a necessary part and completion of an ensemble.

So choose wisely and carry on!

There have been a lot of new pieces and colors that have made it to this years' runway and even more classic designs with a new twist to them. The question is, however, what pieces do the stars and stylist think will make it to the red carpet and what pieces are best left on the runway?

Let's take a look at some of the designs and pieces that are red carpet HOT!

New York Fashion Week is well underway. While a number of designers made a repeat appearance such as J. Crew, Betsy Johnson, and Ralph Lauren, there were newcomers that made it to the list of designers to watch such as Josep Font, Simone Rocha, and Thomas Tait just to name a few.
