YOU SHOE IS FUNKY: Jeffrey Campbell

Since 2000, Jeffrey Campbell Shoes has been capturing the essence of the street; weaving it together with a vintage style & runway flair, creating a line of shoes instantly recognizable the world over. As a small, family owned company, the meteoric rise of the Jeffrey Campbell brand is the result of hard work and a true passion for design- a passion that is evident in every detail of every product that carries the name. Despite transforming into a global brand, with offices all over the world, the Los Angeles-based Jeffrey Campbell operates today on those same principles, retaining the small-company ideals and mentality upon which it was founded. Rare commodities in the conglomerated, incorporated world we live in.

Inspiration and design ideas come from everywhere. The “JC design team” isn’t a group of 6th Avenue, corner office executives… it’s you. It’s the JC Girl bloggers. It’s the interns, the assistants, boyfriends, girlfriends and boutique owners around the world, all trading ideas with the JC Team.

Check out his ever so funky styles!

What's Hot & What's Not...NYFW 2013

There have been a lot of new pieces and colors that have made it to this years' runway and even more classic designs with a new twist to them. The question is, however, what pieces do the stars and stylist think will make it to the red carpet and what pieces are best left on the runway?

Let's take a look at some of the designs and pieces that are red carpet HOT!

New York Fashion Week is well underway. While a number of designers made a repeat appearance such as J. Crew, Betsy Johnson, and Ralph Lauren, there were newcomers that made it to the list of designers to watch such as Josep Font, Simone Rocha, and Thomas Tait just to name a few.

Color Club: Fuchsia, Fuchsia, Fuchsia

Fuchsia is hands down one of my favorite colors.  I honestly have no idea whether it is going to be "the hottest color of Spring," I just know I love it!  Fuchsia is one of those colors that is bold and bright, but still plays well with others.  I love to color block fuchsia with a variety of colors, I personally think it goes well with cobalt Blue, bright yellow, black & white, purple, teal, brown...well almost every color, including orange!

Whether it be just a pop of fuchsia or the whole shebang, give it a try!  Check out these inspiring pieces!
