KIDS CHOICE AWARDS: Orange Carpet Fashion

Last nights' 'Kids' Choice Awards' were full of laughter and slime, but the fashion seen on the ever so popular "orange carpet" has us all still talking a day later.

Young and the not-so young alike came out in a full aray of colors last night. Bright hues were a huge hit on the orange carpet; Some even took it to the nails.

While this is an awards show, many stars opted to go casual for last nights' event. A lot of pant and short suits made their epic debut on the spring awards show.

Some, however, still went for the traditional or doll baby get up, as their choice in wardrobe.

Still others, rocked runway looks that were very much appropriate for last nights' occasion.

Through it all, though, a lot of skin was showing, the sun was shining, and everybody came to have fun.

Until next time!

PAINTED!: Spring 2014 Nail Trends

The spring fashion and style season is already upon us and the break out nail trends have already surfaced.

During both New York and Paris' Fashion weeks the models surprised us all as they blazed the runways with unique fashion pieces, accessorized by phenomenal nail designs.

The half moon nail design was a big hit during the 2014 spring/summer fashion previews; And it is most definitely gaining even more momentum in the world of style, right now.

Also topping the 2014 nail trend charts were the window pain design and caviar beads.

Just as with the top spring fashion color trends; metallics, nudes, and pastels have made their way onto the nails and have simply exploded. Blazing this trail right along with the above colors are the darker hues, such as blacks, dark cherry, and indigo.

The talon nail trend from the 2012-2013 spring seasons, have been shaped, filed, and are now even longer and sharper than ever before. So much so, that they are now known as the 'stiletto nail'.

Tribal designs, mosaic, and polish layering are very popular this year as well. Confetti nails are another festive yet sophisticated nail trend that will really spice up your spring ensembles; especially for prom.

So, whether you are looking to have glammed up, superstar, runway/red carpet nails or if you just want the solid more toned down look; you will definitely find what you are looking for in the diversity of this springs' nail trends.

Yes, the reverse manicure has popped up all over the red carpet and beyond, yet seems to continue to soar.

A-listers such a Jennifer Lopez has really taken this new fashion statement to the next level.

Mattes, glosses, glitters, and opaques have been mixed and matched to achieve authentic designs that are sure to wow even the most picky nail critic.

This new nail trend is being changed and tweaked by minute, from bright and bold colors to embellished and bedazzled accessories.

Many nail salons have definitely jumped aboard this exciting new trend and are quickly putting their own spin on it.

Though the reverse french manicure is seen with many different and unique twists on the traditional french manicure, there are still those that prefer the classic white and pink polish to achieve the same look.

This is one of the summers' hottest new looks, so head on over to the salon and request your very own reverse French manicure. Not looking to spend or pay celeb coins for this popular beauty trend? No problem, this look can be achieved at home. There are many online videos and tutorials on how to attain this not so traditional yet amazing nail art, all by yourself.
