Sandals are debuting and rearing their luxurious and trendy heads for this Spring/Summer fashion Season. The top designers have once again wowed us with there chic, couture, and dramatic sandal creations.
Alexander McQueen, Giuseppe, and Michael Kors are amongst the many designers that are making an amazing comeback in the sandal game for this hot new season!!
The gladiator sandal is back with a bang this year. The tied, buckled, and zipped gladiator are even higher on the leg than years before, some even making there way past the knees. The low or ankle gladiator style sandals are still in full effect with incredible twist and turns as well. Additionally, the lace and textured gladiators are also very popular this year. Whether you opt for the heeled gladiator or flat gladiator sandal, there's no way to go wrong with this prominent footwear in the coming Spring/Summer season.
Many women are, however, opting out of the high or medium heel sandal this season. And are slipping their feet into a more comfortable yet fashionable flat sandal. As the jelly and flatform sandals are making their 2013 comeback. The jelly sandal has a little more bling and accessories added to it this season, while the flatform is a more plain yet subtle look. More women are also choosing to party in their flats verses their heely and sometimes uncomfortable counterparts.
A new and exciting trend that we are seeing more of, is the cuffed ankle sandals. More designers have jumped aboard this trend and it has simply exploded. The cuffed look is not necessarily "new" but the sandal game has definitely latched on to this trend and has hit the pavement running. Color blocking, animal prints and floral prints and patterns are amongst the best sellers of this style of sandal.
Thin or narrow strapped and beaded sandals are also amid the top ten shoe seller as well. These classic styles may be simple but they can also add a touch of elegance to a casual pant or skirt and top ensemble.
The wedge and chunky sandals are a big hit this Spring/Summer season. There's no denying that this trend will not be leaving the fashion scene anytime soon. The added bells and whistles to this well-known style, are sure to continue the longevity of this sandal.
There is no doubt warmer days are ahead of us and an even greater doubt that the designers always remain relevant by continuing to amaze us with their irresistible sandal creations.
