COLOR PREDICTIONS: Springtime Fine

Spring has sprung and all of the color predictions are popping out all over the place. 

Patones prediction for the hottest color this year is 'radiant orchard'. And we've seen this color fly right off the runway and land in our local stores and boutiques.

Other color predictions include metallics, nudes, and pastels. Colors that we've seen quite a bit of on the red carpet this year during awards' season.

To take full advantage of this springs' prime colors, it's definitely ok to mix and match, which we saw an abundance of on the runways both at NYFW and in the Paris fashion shows. 

Men are also getting in on this years' color trends. Adding pops of color, whether with a tie, bow tie, or an ascot, as well as shirt combos, scarves, and socks. Some men are even wearing full on color with the whole ensemble. And are surprisingly pulling it off.

No matter your style or stature make sure that you make this years' color trends apart of your spring wardrobe. So that you too can be springtime fine.

I SEE YOU: 2013 Fashion Eyewear

Schoolyard bullies once made it very difficult for those who wore glasses.

Well, that has suddenly changed as the fashion and beauty world has made wearing funky eyeglasses the IT thing to do.

The more bold and dramatic the colors and patterns, the better. Pinks, yellows, reds, and blues are amongst the top colors to rock around the eyes this year. Of course, these colors come second to the ever so popular basic black.

The new Ombré hair trend has taken the world by storm!

From A list celebs such as Beyoncé and Jessica Simpson to reality stars Khloe Kardashian and Draya Michele. The Ombré craze has set the small screen, big screen, and red carpet on fire.

Many have jumped on the Ombré train and are riding it in style. The salons and stylist have been bombarded with a rush of women requesting the new Ombré color.

Though Ombré has been around for awhile now, this highly sought after trend has picked up this Spring with a spicy new twist.

MINT TO BE: One Of The Colors Setting Spring On Fire

 

One of the hottest colors making a big splash this spring is cool mint!  Mint is such a great color, even though it has personality, it's almost like a nuetral.  You can pair mint with dark brown for a more subdued look or electric blue if you want to be loud!  I'm all for color blocking, my only warning for mint is don't go with too many pastel colors...or risk looking like an Easter egg!  Check out some mint fashions for more inspiration!

There have been a lot of new pieces and colors that have made it to this years' runway and even more classic designs with a new twist to them. The question is, however, what pieces do the stars and stylist think will make it to the red carpet and what pieces are best left on the runway?
